FBR Orders Transfers of 14 Customs Officers Across Major Stations
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has ordered major transfers and postings of senior Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) officers, including a BS-21 officer and several BS-18 and BS-19 officers, with immediate effect.
According to two separate notifications issued by the Revenue Division on Monday, Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob Mako (PCS/BS-21), currently serving as Member, FBR (Hq), Islamabad (stationed at Karachi), has been transferred and posted as Director General, Directorate General of Post Clearance & Internal Audit, Karachi.
In the same notification (No. 2171-C-I/2026), Ms. Nausheen Riaz Khan (PCS/BS-19), Secretary, FBR (Hq), Islamabad (stationed at Karachi), has been posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Post Clearance & Internal Audit (HQ), Karachi. Mr. Tausif Aman (PCS/BS-19), also Secretary, FBR (Hq), Islamabad (stationed at Karachi), has been made Additional Director, Directorate of Post Clearance & Internal Audit (South), Karachi.
Meanwhile, Mr. Muhammad Faizan Badar (PCS/BS-18), Secretary (PCS/BS-19 on DTL), FBR (Hq), Islamabad (stationed at Lahore), has been transferred and posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Post Clearance & Internal Audit (Central), Lahore.
A second notification (No. 2172-C-I/2026) announced transfers and postings of Pakistan Customs Service officers in BS-17 to BS-19.
According to the notification, Mr. Sheeraz Ahmad (PCS/BS-19), Secretary, FBR (Hq), Islamabad, has been posted as Additional Director, Directorate of National Nuclear Detection Architecture (NNDA), Karachi. Ms. Zehra Tahir Naqvi (PCS/BS-19), Secretary, FBR (Hq), Islamabad, has been made Additional Director, Customs Academy of Pakistan (CAP), Karachi. Mr. Asfand Yar Khan (PCS/BS-19), Secretary, FBR (Hq), Islamabad, has been posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Transit Trade (HQ), Karachi.
Furthermore, Mr. Mustafa Zamir (PCS/BS-18), Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Exports), Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (East), Karachi. Mr. Tariq Hussain (PCS/BS-18), Second Secretary (Admin Pool), FBR (Hq), Islamabad, has been posted as Deputy Director, Directorate General of Law & Prosecution (Customs), Islamabad.
Ms. Hira Khan (PCS/BS-18), Second Secretary (TDU), FBR (Hq), Islamabad, has been made Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Islamabad. Mr. Hammad Ahmed (PCS/BS-18), Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (East), Karachi, has been posted as Deputy Director, Directorate of Intelligence, Karachi. Mr. Rahat Naseem (PCS/BS-18), Deputy Director, Directorate of Intelligence, Karachi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Exports), Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi.
In addition, Mr. Muhammad Arslan Arshad (PCS/BS-17), Second Secretary (TDU), FBR (Hq), Islamabad, has been posted as Assistant Collector, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement, Faisalabad. Mr. Sami Ullah (PCS/BS-17), Assistant Collector (Prob), Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Quetta, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Assistant Director (Prob), Directorate of National Nuclear Detection Architecture (NNDA), Quetta.
The notifications state that the above-named officers will continue to discharge their assigned responsibilities under the Facilitation Mechanism, in addition to their regular duties. Officers drawing performance allowance prior to the issuance of these notifications shall continue to draw this allowance at their new place of posting. All transferred officers have been directed to send charge relinquishment/assumption reports to FBR immediately for record and further necessary action.
